Richard M. Lewis, 77 of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away Feb. 4, 2017 at Hocking Valley Hospital, Logan, Ohio. He was born in Carter County, Kentucky, Jan. 14, 1940, a son of the late Orville Lewis and Mary Karr Lewis, a United States Army and Marine Veteran.
Preceded in death by his wife, Olive Lewis in 2000, one son, James Hyrne, two brothers, Dorse Lewis and William Lewis.
Surviving is four sons, Jerry Hyrne of Canton, GA, Richard Lewis of Wayne, WV, Steven Lewis of Rockbridge, OH, Mark Lewis of Charlotte, NC, five daughters, Rhonda Miracle, Betty Pollitt and Tonya Bentley all of South Shore, Kentucky, Alice Lewis and Cathy Yantes both of Rockbridge, OH, one brother, Elwood Lewis and two sisters, Anne Haney and Josphine Miller, several grand and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 1 P.M. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 at the Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Bob Thompson, officiating.
