Kathy - I️ hope somehow this gets to you. We don’t know each other but our children knew one another. Brody and our daughter,Madeline were friends online. My husband and I️ weren’t so keen on this “online talking thing” but the more we got to know Brody the more we liked him and knew that he wasn’t some kind of online predator. Madeline thought the world of Brody. She was constantly talking about him. My husband and I️ even talked to him via FaceTime when he would chat with Madeline and her two other siblings. I️ don’t know what happen except for a text that a boy named Ethan sent to Madeline but I️ just wanted to say how deeply saddened we are of Brody’s passing. I️ just wanted you to know that for the short time that we knew him, he was a very awesome young man, and we will never forget him. You and your family will be in our prayers.
With our Deepest Sympathy,
Amy Jones and Family

Brody was a great person and I’m sorry he had to pass. I know it must be rough for you, his family, and us, his friends. I wish I could be there in Kentucky but I’m unable to go. I wish we could have a sort of memorial service of some sort here in Perry for his teachers and fellow classmates. I wish your family the best!

Brody loved the Perry community. We moved a long way from home when we moved to massillon and the students and teachers welcomed Brody with open arms, for that I am grateful. He has told me so many great stories of his new friends and teachers. My heart is not just broken for myself but for his friends.
