Martha Jean (Cooper) Bailey

Martha Jean Bailey, 82, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away, Aug. 16, 2021 in SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. She was born in Portsmouth, May 12, 1939, a daughter of the late Frank E. Cooper and Edith Nickles Cooper.

Preceded in death besides her parents are one son, John E. Richards, brother, John P. Cooper.

Surviving are two daughters, Edith (Michael) Foit of South Shore, Kentucky, Cindy (Armin) Tomm of Victoria, BC, one son, Charles L. Richards of Portsmouth, Oh, sister, Rosemary (Donald) Clark of Swamsboro, NC, grandchildren, Ronnie Crabtree, Nicki Lubinskas, Robert Adkins, Michael Adkins and Dawn Wiley, great grandchildren, Brandon, Cody and Oshianna Crabtree, Jacob and Gabrial Adkins, Garrett and Todd Adkins, Heather Bender, Stephanie, Michael and Dana Adkins, Erabella Mitchell, Matthew and Devin Wiley.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY with Aaron Reed, officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
