Helen Louise Helton, 85, of South Shore, KY., passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at South Shore Nursing and Rehab in South Shore, KY. She was born in New Boston, OH., August 6, 1932 a daughter of the late John and Minnie Bell Boggs Mowery.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Worley Helton JR., whom passed away November of 1969, one daughter Sharon Helton, four brothers Holbert Mowery, Johnny Mowery, Herbert Mowery and Jimmy Mowery, three sisters, Edie Smith, Lorraine Ward and Florie Snyder.

Surviving are one son Ronald K. (Rita) Helton of South Shore, KY., four sisters Kay Horsley, of West Portsmouth, OH., Ruth Shears of Cleveland, OH., Sue Morris of GA., and Mary Snyder of Sciotoville, OH., two grandchildren Katherine Purtee and Matthew Helton, three special friends Rita Sammons, Connie Smith, Sue Davis and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral Services will be 12 P.M. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Rev. Rex Smith officiating. Entombment will follow at the Ashland Cemetery in Ashland, KY. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home Saturday from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
