Garry Lee Bentley, 77, of South Shore, KY., went to be with his Lord Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Walsh, KY., January 4, 1942 a son of the late Van Martin Bentley and Hazel Collier Bentley.
He retired from Glockner Chevrolet, was a high school graduate from South Portsmouth High School and was a member of the Sunshine United Methodist Church.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Pauline R. Gilliam Bentley whom he married June 22nd 1962 they were married 56 years, two daughters Cathy (Randy) McRoberts of Grove City, OH., and Robin (Randy) White of Indianapolis, IN., one sister Charlotte Bentley Masters of Maysville, KY., one brother Richard “Sonny” Bentley of Minford, OH., four grandchildren Ryan Tackett, Brittany Tackett, Justin McRoberts and Ashley McRoberts., four great grandchildren Sophia Cade, Noralee Lovsey, Justin McRoberts JR., and Jaden McRoberts.
Funeral Services will be 11 A.M. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Rev. David Herndon and Rev. Bob Sweeney officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Friday, January 25, 2019 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and one hour until the service hour on Saturday.
