Donald Gene Cade, 89, of South Portsmouth, Kentucky passed away May 25, 2017 in Hillview Retirement Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, Oct. 18, 1927, a son of the late Harry Cade and Esther Parker Cade. Donald was a Navy Corpsman, retired part owner of Bilh’s Office Supply and attended the South Portsmouth Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie P. Reeder Cade, June 20, 2014, seven brothers and sisters, Connie Cade, Bill Cade, Jack Cade, Jerry Cade, Dick Cade and Judy Dornick and Phillip Cade.

Surviving are one son, Mark Cade of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, one brother, Paul “Pete” Cade of South Shore, Kentucky, nieces and nephews, Delanna (Lance) Warnock, Christy (Joe) Greenslate, Jennifer (Danny) Wright, Mitzi (Brian) Lanning, Scarlet( Jerrod) Shoemaker, Karen (Jeff) Walburn, Lea Ann Vanbibber, Cheryl (Mark) Euton, Steve (Linda ) Reeder, Rob Smith and Jill (Mark) Enovoldson, several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Steve Falls, officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 11 A.M. till the Funeral Hour at 1 P.M. on Saturday.

Military Graveside services will be held by American Legion Post 93, Kenova, West Virginia .
