Brenda P. Bennett, 68, of South Shore, Kentucky went to be with her Lord and Savior, September 16, 2017 in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Greenup County, Kentucky, Sept. 30, 1948, a daughter of the late William Yankee and Icy Osborne, Brenda attended Grace Fellowship Church in Wheelersburg, Ohio.

Preceded in death by one sister, Faye Dillow and one brother, Raymond Dale Yankee.

Surviving are her husband, Marion Edward Bennett to  whom she married May 29, 1965, two sons, John (Kiesha) Bennett of Adelphi, Ohio, Daniel (Angie) Bennett of Louisville, Kentucky, two daughters, Paula (Dan) Gilley of Otway, Ohio and Linda (Fred) Bettis of Wheelersburg, Ohio, two brothers, Michael Yankee of Kenton, Ohio and Curt White of Zebulon, North Carolina, one sister, Debbie McClaskey of Lucasville, Ohio, twelve grandchildren, Zachary Bettis, Trevor Bennett, Sadie Bennett, Seneka Bennett, Michele Bennett, Kelsie Overly, Braxton Bennett, Jasmine Thompson, Olivia Bennett, Elizabeth Bennett, Ashley Hall and Suvanna Bennett, four great-grandchildren, Jack Meadows, Rylee Thompson, Ancizar Mitchell and Brycen Bradley.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. James Vandagriff, officiating. Burial will follow in MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 5 till 8 P.M. on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 and one hour before service time on Wednesday.
