Betty Rickett Schouster, 85 of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away, July 20, 2022 in the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in Covington, Kentucky, Nov. 14, 1936, a daughter of the late Louis and Evellyn Bell. Betty enjoyed fishing and bingo but most of all her family, she was of the Christian Baptist Faith.

Preceded in death besides her parents are her first husband, Earnest Rickett and second husband, Russell Schouster, five children, Patricia Rickett, Eddie Rickett, Teddy Ray Rickett, Tracy Scott Rickett and Brenda Joyce Rickett.

Surviving are four sons, Charlie (Dana) Rickett, Bruce (Shari) Rickett, James (Sonjia) Rickett and Lee (Marie) Rickett, five daughters, Barbara (Don) Stratton, Betty Jo (Reese) Rickett, Imogene (Arnold) Rickett, Kristy Dickison and Jamie (Richard) Rickett and a special daughter, Emma Logan, twenty six grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Raymond Lewis, officiating. Burial will follow in the Crystal Dawn Cemetery, Quincy, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 till 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022 and from 11 a.m. till the service hour on Monday.
