Willis E. Flanery, 82 of McDermott, Ohio, passed away Dec. 5, 2022 in SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Aflex, Kentucky, Aug. 21, 1940, a son of the late Clevie J. Flanery and Rebecca Ford Flanery. Willis was a U.S Marine Veteran.

Preceded in death besides his parents are his wife, Delores Flanery, brother, Clevie James Flanery Jr., sisters, Evelyn Peterman, Myrtle Bomar.

Surviving are two children, Michael (Laurie) Flanery of South Shore, Kentucky, Lori Flanery of Denver, Colorado, brothers, Steve Flanery and Kenneth Flanery, sister, Kathleen Kisinger, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 at the Roberson Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Lewis, officiating. Burial will follow in the Ford Cemetery, Firebrick, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
