William "Bill" Thomas, 75 of South Shore, KY., passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Ashland Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. He was born August 9, 1948 in Prestonsburg, KY., a son of the late William F. and Thelma George Thomas.

Bill was a United State Army Veteran and retired from AK Steel.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Thomas.

Left to cherish his memory are three children, Ben (Edwina) Thomas of Greenup, KY., Karen (Garry) Gilliam and Kevin Thomas both of South Shore, KY; one sister, Kathy (Dave) Blevins of South Shore, KY; six grandchildren, Taylor (Will), Brecken, Cole, Brock, Aryn and Liam; one great- grandchild, Miles and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

There will be a Memorial Service Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at the James L. Flannery American Legion Post 276 from 3 P.M. until 9 P.M.
