William Lee Sagraves, 92, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away, Feb. 24, 2016 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. William was born July 15, 1923 in Truitt, Kentucky, a son of the late Agur Sagraves and Luverna Duncan Sagraves, he was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by seven sisters, Birdie Allen, Monnie Musser, Cora Glispie, Dorrie Land, Lorrie Gilliam, Goldie Sagraves and Dorothy Shuler, two brothers, Jim Sagraves and Chester Sagraves. Surviving are his loving companion of 33 years, Delie Mercer, daughter, Joyce Ann Hawkins of Greenup, Kentucky, two step sons, three step daughters, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. David Robirds, officiating. Burial will follow in the Foster-Duncan Cemetery, Greenup, Kentucky.
