William Boyd Loper Sr., 49, of New Boston, OH., passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Portsmouth, OH., June 10, 1964 a son of Joyce Riley Loper Garrett of Morehead, KY., and the late James E. Loper. He was a mechanic and a member of the New Life Worship Center in Portsmouth, OH. Surviving besides his mother is one son, William and Claytonia Loper Jr., of McDermott, OH., four brothers Brian Loper of Clearwater, FL., James E. Loper Jr., Timothy W. Loper both of Portsmouth, OH., and Donald H. Loper of Morehead, KY. Also surviving is one sister Carol Ison of Morehead, KY., three grandsons Bryson, Brady and Carson Loper. Preceded in death by a daughter Misty Dawn Loper. Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the South Shore Old Regular Baptist Church in South Shore, KY., with Rev. Timothy Loper and Rev. Jason Blevins, officiating. Burial will be in MT. Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Friends may come to the church from 11 A.M. till the funeral hour on Tuesday.
