Wade Andoi Alvarado, 63, of Portsmouth, Ohio passed away Aug. 15, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Honokahua, Hawaii, Sept. 18, 1952, a son of the late Benedicto Alvarado and Clara Puanani Young Alvarado. Retired from the U.S. Army. Surviving are his wife, Rita J. Alvarado, one son, Jason Alvarado, Birmingham, England, three daughters, Jacqueline Alvarado of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jamielyn Alvarado and Olivia Alvarado both of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, four brothers, Benedicto Alvarado of Haiku, Maui, Cullen Alvarado of Lockwood, California and Galen and Kelton Alvarado both of San Diego, California, two sisters, Colette Chandler and Roxanne Reycasa both of San Diego, California. Preceded in death by two brothers, Shon Batalona and Gregory Alvarado. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky.
