Virgie E. Porter, 83 of South Portsmouth, Kentucky passed away May 30, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Fullerton, Kentucky, Jan. 13, 1939, a daughter of the late Sandy McKenzie and Flossie Wheeler.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Porter Sr. in 1973, one daughter, Kathy Porter, son, Robert "Bobby" Porter Jr., grandson, Robert Porter III.

Surviving are three daughters, Lisa (John) Gleason of West Portsmouth, Ohio, Peggy (Lanny) Rice of South Shore, Kentucky and Robin (Joe) Kuntz of Dayton, Ohio, brothers, Ernie McKenzie, Red McKenzie and Ottie McKenzie, sisters, Sally Sigler, Jean Wood, Marilyn Esposito and Susie Queen, grandchildren, Zack and Kayla Gleason, LT (Amanda) Rice, Garrett (Devan) Rice and Erin Rice, Brittany and Heather Porter, great-grandchildren, Amy and Johnny Gleason, Ethan and Gavin Jordan and Olivia Rice. Many extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Ken Southgate, officiating. Burial will follow in Collier Memorial Gardens, South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. till the service hour at 11 a.m. on Friday.
