Viola H. Miller, 93, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away Jan. 27, 2018 in SOMC Hospice Care Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in Greenup County, Kentucky, Oct. 12, 1924, a daughter of the late Forest Hardin and Olive Lute Hardin. Viola was a member of the Sunshine United Methodist Church, South Shore, Kentucky.

Proceeded in death by her husband, Denver Miller, Feb. 13, 1961, one son, Phillip Miller, great grand-daughter, Alex Fore, one sister, Roberta Lee Shoemaker, two brothers Marvin Emmons and Raymond Eugene Emmons.

Surviving are two sons, Jerry Dale (Linda Kay) Miller of Fort Myers, Florida, James Dean (Julie) Miller of Springfield, Ohio, three daughters, Sandra Spray of New Orleans, Louisiana, Delilah Lee (Mike) Fore of South Portsmouth, Kentucky and Connie Goble-Miller (Ray) Miller of Dunbar, West Virginia, thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Bob Sweeney, officiating. Burial will follow in Bennett Chapel Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call from 6 till 8 P.M. on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018 and from 9 A.M. till the service time at 11 A.M. on Thursday.
