Vernon Hannah, 73, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away April 24, 2015 in Our Lady Of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born on Jan. 19, 1942 in Greenup, Kentucky, a son of the late Clearence Hannah and Hazel Barker Hannah. Surviving are three sisters, Pauline Hieneman of Greenup, Kentucky, Mary Margaret Hannah of Garrison, Kentucky, Joyce Ann Hannah of Vanceburg, Kentucky, one brother, Gilbert Hannah of Greenup, Kentucky, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by three brothers, Chester Hannah, Gary Hannah and Otto Hannah. Vernon lived on the Mauk family farm for 38 years, where he became part of their family. He will be missed by the Mauk family and surrounding neighbors. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Kenneth Martin, officiating. Burial will follow in Brick Union Cemetery, Greenup, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11 A.M. till the funeral hour at 1 P.M.
