Truman "Fiz" Farris, 87, of Quincy, KY., passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at Kings Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born in Siloam, KY., April 22, 1936 a son of the late William and Mary Lewis Farris.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Ann Carver Farris; one sister, Dory Cooper; three brothers, Bill, Eugene and Prunny.

Left behind to cherish his memory are one son, Steven Farris of Quincy, KY; one granddaughter, Heather (Jon) Star of Danville, KY; three great- grandchildren, Jane, Jon and Joe. Along with several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with David Robirds officiating. Burial will follow at Davis-Carver Cemetery in Quincy, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, November 24, 2023 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and from 12 P.M. until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
