Sylus James Boots, four month old infant son of Michael Shane Boots and Megan Rachelle Moore went to his Heavenly Father on Jan. 3, 2023 in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Portsmouth, Sept. 12, 2022.

Surviving besides his parent are his siblings, Layne Michael Boots, Carson Shane Boots and Raegan Rachelle Hurley, Grandparents, Wendy (Luke Fankell) Moore, Kathy Boots, James Boots, Jeff (Brandy) Moore, great-grandparents, Michael (Marcey) Boggs and Diana Bloomfield, aunts, Paige(David McGuire) Moore, Brandi (Justin) Bittinger, Megan (Bryce) Hall, uncles, Travis (Zoni Roberts) Boots, Logan (Bridget Moore) Moore and many cousins and extended family that will miss him.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Preacher David Bentley, officiating. Burial will follow in the Warnock Cemetery, Warnock, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon till the service hour at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
