Suzanne James, 73, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away, Aug. 1, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Fullerton, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James Clay and Marie Pennington Skidmore.

Preceded in death by her husband, James D. James, Sept. 23, 2020, siblings, Oleata Brown, Jim Skidmore, Jack Skidmore, Mike Skidmore, Lindsay (Buck) Skidmore, Nanny Bailey, Glen Skidmore and Joan Mae Skidmore.

Surviving are two sons, Troy (Nancy) James of Waverly, Ohio, Chad (Candy) James of Etna, Ohio, brother, William Skidmore, sisters, Betty Carter and Linda Lawson, grandchildren, Joey, Jack, Jakob, Gracie, Kyle, Austin and Kenley, special niece, Kathy Munn.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with Jim Smedley, officiating. Burial will follow in Brick Union Cemetery, Lloyd, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
