Sonya Renee Lumpkins Prewitt, 38 of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Oct. 3, 2018 at her parents residence. She was born in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Dec. 7, 1979, a daughter of Larry and Sandra Burgess Lumpkins.

Preceded in death by one brother, Donald Lumpkins, paternal grandparents, Roy and Rhoda Lumpkins, Maternal grandparents, Leonard and Olive Burgess.

Surviving are two children, Helen Lumpkins and Kaleb Lumpkins both of Vanceburg, KY, four brothers, Michael (Alicia) Lumpkins of Vanceburg, KY, Larry Joe (Clara) Lumpkins of Garrison, KY and Terry (Sue) Lumpkins of Garrison, KY, Sherman (Cindy) Sadler of Texas, two sisters, Sue (Bub) Silvey of Vanceburg, KY, Cindy (Wayne) Watkins of South Shore, KY, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor Janis Barton, officiating. Burial will follow in MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore, KY. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 till 8 P.M. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018 and from 9 A.M. till the Funeral hour at 11 A.M. on Wednesday.
