Sherman Kamer, 84, of South Portsmouth, KY., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Edgewood Manor in Lucasville, OH. He was born in Garrison, KY., November 11, 1939 a son of the late Estin and Grethel Cassidy Kamer.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Odust Kamer and Kenneth Kamer; four sisters, Evelyn Cooper, Marie Dummitt, Doris Downing and Geraldine McCleese.

Sherman enjoyed spending his time and traveling with the love of his life Monda. Sherman was an animal lover and had many precious puppies over his lifetime each holding a special place in his heart. Sherman was active in many churches, lastly at the Church of God in South Shore, KY. He retired from Kroger. He loved Wood Working, Fixing Cars and he didn't know a stranger.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Monda Seagraves Kamer; four sons, John (Sherry) Kamer of Deland, FL., Gregory "Brian" (Tara) Kamer of Portsmouth, OH., Aaron (Ashley) Kamer of South Webster, OH., and Shannon (Kaitlyn) Kamer of South Portsmouth, KY; one brother, David (Tammy) Kamer; eleven grandchildren, Caitlin Jaramillo, Hannah Kamer, Aiden Jenkins, Adam Lloyd, Xavier Kamer, Zeke Kamer, Kaleb Kamer, Bryson Kamer, Colton Kamer, Braeligh Kamer and Hayden Kamer.

Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Raymond Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott, OH. Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
