Shannan Joy Preston, 46, died Sunday, September 3, 2017. She was born May 6, 1971. She is survived by her son, Ty Eller; her parents, Ben (Ruth) Carver and Jennifer (Kenny) Sword; her sister, Amy (Josh) Lewis; her nieces, Elly and Sydney Lewis, and several cousins, aunts, and uncles. She is preceded in death by her loving grandmother Annie "Granny" Queen.

Shannan graduated from Wheelersburg high school in 1989.She attended Shawnee State University. She worked as a web designer and freelance artist.

Shannan was passionate and creative. She loved her family, music, and art. She never met a dog she didn't like. Her quirky personality and off-beat style and sense of humor will always be missed.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky. Burial will follow in South Webster Cemetery, South Webster, Ohio.
