Obituary
Sarah Elsie Adkins Logan Thacker, 99, of South Shore, KY., passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at South Shore Nursing and Rehab in South Shore, KY. She was born February 25, 1918 in Letitia, KY., a daughter of the late Franklin and Nancy Gillum Adkins.
Sarah was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lee Logan, three sons John Brown, Donald Brown and Lenny Roberts Adkins, five brothers and five sisters.
Surviving are two sons Virgil Brown of North Liberty, IN., and Carl Brown of OH., two daughters Darlene Potter and Noretta Potter both of South Shore, KY., also surviving are several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Elder Clayton Oliver officiating. Burial will follow at MT Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Wednesday from 11 AM till the funeral hour at 2 PM.
