Sadie Lambert, 81, of Prestonsburg, KY., passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at U.K. Bluegrass Hospice in Lexington, KY. She was born in Pikeville, KY., November 29, 1937 a daughter of the late Jess Hopkins and Pearl Adkins Hopkins.

Along with her parents Sadie is preceded in death by her husband James Lambert whom passed away in 2009, one son Milford Lambert, one daughter Sherry Lambert, two brothers A.D. Hopkins and Rayburn Hopkins, two grandchildren James Smith and Rachel Smith.

Left behind to cherish her memory are two daughters Rosemary Smith of Betsey Lane, KY., and Kimberly Lambert of Portsmouth, OH., six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Rev. Norman Potter officiating. Burial will follow at Richardson Cemetery in Lewis County, KY. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home Saturday from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1 P.M.
