Ruth Nell (Lemaster) Pitts, 86, of Portsmouth, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Bridgeport Healthcare Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in Paintsville, KY., on February 20, 1937, a daughter of the late Trimble and Ruie Montgomery Lemaster.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by one son Ronnie Hunt, one daughter Emma Perkins, one grandchild Stacy Hunt, one sister Dorothy Wolford, and three brothers, Jarvie , Richard, and Ernie Lemaster.

Left behind to cherish her memory are three sons, Bryan (Carrie) Pitts of Chillicothe, OH., Charles (Rick) Hunt of Portsmouth, OH., James Hunt of Chillicothe, OH., 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, One sister Ellen Tackett, and several other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Roberson funeral Home in South Shore, KY. The Burial will follow at Mt Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. until the time of service.
