Ruby Parker, 80, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away, Aug. 9, 2021 in the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. She was born in Greenup County, Jan. 18, 1941, a daughter of the late George Williams and Elizabeth Smith Williams. Ruby was a retired attendance clerk from the Greenup County School system and a member of the Allen Chapel Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Wells Parker, Aug. 1, 2020, brother, Ralph Williams and brother in law, Tom Murphy.

Surviving are one daughter, Terri (Rocky) Mills of Dresden, Maine, brother, George (Peggy) Williams JR. of South Shore, sisters, Betty Murphy of South Shore, Christine (Harold) Dupuy of South Shore. Special extended family, Michelle (Joe) Liles, Josh Liles of South Shore, many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with Jeff Dupuy, officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, South Shore. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m. on Friday.
