Ruby Petry, 92 of New Richmond, Ohio, a former Greenup County resident, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in South West Regional Medical Center in Georgetown, Ohio. She was born in South Shore, Kentucky,  January 21, 1921, a daughter of the late Henry  and Leota Justice McGuire . Was a member of South Shore First Christian Church. Preceded in death by one daughter, Bonnie Armstrong, three brothers, Willard, Edward and Harlan McGuire, three sisters, Alma Smith, Audrey Bennett and Alfa Ratliff. Surviving are two sons, Tim "Teresa" Petry of New Richmond, Ohio and Dallas "Natalie" Petry of Westerville, Indiana, one sister, Ethel Ruggles of Atlanta, Georgia. eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Funeral services 2 P.M. Sunday, September 15, 2013 at South Shore First Christian Church with Brother Bill Hayden and Rev. Jack Edwards, officiating. Burial will be in MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. on Saturday, September 14, 2013 and one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the Church at 1 P.M.
