Obituary
Roy "Philip" Howerton, 71 of South Shore, Kentucky passed away Sept. 29, 2021 in SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Walsh, Kentucky, April 21, 1950, a son of the late Oda McDowell Howerton.
Preceded in death by one son, Benje Howerton, grandson Brandon Howerton.
Surviving are his wife, Gail Forbes Howerton, one son, Brad (Stephanie) Howerton of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Ashlee, Allison, Aimee and Isaac Howerton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Brad Howerton, officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, South Shore. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon till the service hour at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
