Roy D. Gold II, 53, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away May 11, 2019 in SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Ironton, Ohio, Dec. 23, 1965, a son of Janet Preston and the late Roy D. Gold I. Roy was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Preceded in death by one sister, Carol Sue Gold and step daughter, Britany Geisler Lanthorn.

Surviving besides his mother, Janet Preston, are his wife, Lanora Lisa Bellamy Gold, three sons, Adam and Jonathon Gold both of Wheelersburg, Ohio, step son, Tony Bubby Geisler of West Portsmouth, Ohio, one step daughter, Lanora Antonia Geisler of West Portsmouth, Ohio, two sisters, Joelee Deerfield of Ironton, Ohio and Tina Gold of Ironton, Ohio, nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor Danny Smalley, officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m.
