Rose Marie Bailey, 84 of Paris, Kentucky, a former South Shore resident passed away Aug. 28, 2022 in the Bourbon Heights Nursing and Rehab in Paris. She was born in Newport, Kentucky, Jan. 7, 1938, a daughter of the late Wayne Claytor and Martha Claytor Melvin.

Preceded in death besides her parents are her husband, Charles Bailey, one son, Scott Bailey, two sisters, Loretta Yates and Margaret McCombs, one grandson, Jeremy Bailey.

Surviving are four children, Wayne (Tabitha) Claytor of Ohio, Brett Bailey of Florida, Mary Ann (Bo) Campbell of Paris, Kentucky, Chelsey (Shawn) Sesher of South Shore, Kentucky, one brother, Raymond Claytor of Tenn, grandchildren, Charlie Bailey, Daniel Campbell, Justin Campbell, Ashley Large, Sandy Meadows, Brian Scott Bailey and Michael Bailey, Ciara Louth and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor Krista Hampton, officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, South Shore. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 12 p.m.
