Rosalie Meadows, 61, of New Boston, OH., passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, OH. She was born in Portsmouth, OH., on August 15, 1964, a daughter of the late Charles and Wilma Carter Sowards.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Bentley, Rita Sowards, and Minnie Sowards; four brothers, John Sowards, Terry Sowards, Charles C. Sowards, and Robert Sowards.

Left behind to cherish her memory is one son, Jeffery Sowards of New Boston, OH; one daughter, Crystal Everman of New Boston, OH; two sisters, Carlyon (Lonnie) Meadows and Alice (Byron) Butler; one brother, Lester Sowards; five grandchildren, Zain Fodge, Auston Evander, Alexis Holbert, Gage Sowards, Kyo Sowards; many more nieces, nephews, several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

A memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday at the funeral home from 2:00 P.M. until the start of the service hour.
