Rosa Kegley Woodard, 74, of Piketon, OH., passed away Friday, August, 16, 2024 at Adena Pike Medical Center in Waverly, OH. She was born May 31, 1950 in Portsmouth, OH., a daughter of the late Ben and Marjorie Hickman Kegley.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne Wente and second husband, Herman Woodard; one daughter, Charlotte Hampton; one son, Wayne Kenneth Wente JR; four brothers and six sisters.

Left behind to cherish her memory are one son, Chris (Amanda) Wente of Piketon, OH; eight grandchildren, Jacob Wente, Christopher Wente JR, Aubrey Wente, Ladonna Hampton, Russell Hampton, Cheyenne Hampton, Mandy Wente and Nicole Wente; several great-grandchildren and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

A memorial services will be held 6 P.M. Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Lorenzo Bentley officiating. Gathering for family and friends will be at the funeral home Thursday from 5 P.M. until the service hour. A private Inurnment will be at MT Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY., at a later date.
