Rosa A. Cooper, 88, of Limeville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Best Care Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg, Ohio. She was born on August 3, 1937, in Greenup, Kentucky, to the late Ernest Riley and Edith Mangus Riley.

Rosa was a retired caregiver who enjoyed cooking and tending to her roses.

Along with Rosa’s parents, preceding her in death include her husband of over 40 years, Paul Cooper; two brothers, Junior and Mondell; and two sisters, Geraldine and Joyce.

Left to cherish Rosa’s memory are one son, Paul (Lisa) Cooper Jr. of Limeville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Vanessa Cooper of South Shore, Kentucky, Keshia (James) Stamper of Wurtland, Kentucky, Amanda Greene of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Brian Donahue of South Shore, Kentucky; seven great-grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Kaitlyn, Maci, Evan, Seth, and Emerson; four great, great-grandchildren, Brynlynn, Jasetyn, Herman, and Malcom; one brother, Rob Jarvis; four sisters, Donna Wilburn, Patty Hilterbrand, Ruth Plank, and Betty Riley; along with her extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky, at 1 P.M., with Jon Partlow, officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the funeral service hour on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
