Ronald E. Ratliff, 81, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away, March 27, 2018 in SOMC Hospice Care Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in South Shore, Kentucky, May 28, 1936, a son of the late Russell Ratliff and Ollie Bentley Ratliff. Ron had a collection of hats, liked golf, old cars, fishing, country music and shooting pool, and loved playing with his grandchildren. He was a retired Chemical Operator for Himont Corporation.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Leroy Ratliff, Charles Ratliff and Donald Ratliff.

Surviving are one daughter, Ronda (Allen) Exnicious of Seabrook, Texas, one son, Barry (Jamie) Ratliff of Temple, Texas, close companion, Ruth Jarvis, one brother, Sherman (Marilyn) Ratliff of Wheelersburg, Ohio, one sister, Nada (Emmitt) Salisbury of South Shore, Kentucky, and four grandchildren, Nicholas Ratliff, Brock Ratliff, Robert Exnicious III and Marisa Exnicious.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Norman Potter, officiating. Burial will follow in MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 5 P.M. till 7 P.M. on Friday, March 30, 2018 and from 9 A.M. till the Funeral hour on Saturday.
