Ronald Lee Pickel, 84 of Waverly, Ohio went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 27, 2022.

He was born the second son of the late Orville Pickel and Wilma Mullins Pickel on April 30, 1938.

He was a United States Navy Corpsman, a childrens church worker, a youth director, a Christian school principal and a bivocational pastor and a 1970 graduate of the Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO.

He is preceded in death by three brothers, a son, Richard Dale Pickel, and his wife of 60 years, Nora.

He is survived by a daughter, Beverly (Terry) Jones of Ash Grove, MO, a son Eric Pickel of Largo, Florida, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022 at the Waverly Baptist Temple Church with Pastor Richard Goodman, officiating. Burial will follow in the Collier Memorial Gardens, South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Church from 6 till 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022 at the Church and from 12 noon till the service time at 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
