Robert Lee “Bob” Wells, 71, of South Shore, KY, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. He was born in Portsmouth, OH, on October 14, 1954, a son of the late Robert Grant and Helen Roberta (Bailey) Wells.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Bailey Wells, and one brother, David Ray Wells.

Left behind to cherish his memory are one son, Jeremy (Nicole) Wells of Sandy Hook, KY; three daughters, Jessica (David) Bradford of Lucasville, OH, Bethany (Allison Frasure) Wells of Lexington, KY, and Morgan (Joey Adams) Wells of South Shore, KY; one sister, Betty (Roger) Eichenlaub of South Shore, KY; six grandchildren, Zackery Messer, Zander Messer, Rowan Callihan, Allan Bailey, Julia Morris and Harrison Wells; along with several other nieces, nephews, family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Kenny Potter officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
