Robert Cooper, 75, of Stout, Ohio, passed away Nov. 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Greenup County, Kentucky Feb. 3, 1939, a son of the late Clarence Cooper and Aggie Mae Nelson Cooper. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Jean Glispie Cooper to whom he married, March 7, 1980, eight daughters, Brenda Ritchie of Wurtland, KY, Bonnie Johnson of Stewarts Town, PA, Lisa Cumpton of Wurtland, KY, Cindy Winters of Portsmouth, OH, Sherry Snider of Gainsfield, FL, Kimberly Winters of West Portsmouth, OH, Pamela Masters of Columbus, OH, and Claudette Cannon of Horseshoe Beach, FL, two sons, Roger Cooper of Houston, TX and Bobby Cooper of South Webster, OH, seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard Cooper, Dexter Cooper and Gaylord Cooper. Funeral services will be held 12 P.M. on Monday, Nov. 10, 2014 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Rev. Robert Sweeney, officiating. Burial will follow in Veterans Cemetery North East, Grayson, KY.
