Robert L. Collins, 62, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with his Lord, Feb. 27, 2015 in Community Hospice Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born in Hindman, Kentucky, Dec. 13, 1952, a son of the late Delza Collins and Linda Allen Collins. He was a superintendent at Intrack/Chemetron, baptized at his residence by the pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church, enjoyed hunting, fishing, UK basketball and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Vonda Mullins Collins to whom he married July 18, 1970, one son, Robert "Brian" "Allison" Collins of South Shore, Kentucky, one daughter, Becky "Gerald" Elkins of Wurtland, Kentucky, two brothers, Lowell Collins and Hillard Collins both of Warsaw, Indiana, three sisters, Glenna Amburgey of Hindman, Kentucky, Patricia Crider of Campton, Kentucky and Martha Tackett of Topmost, Kentucky, five grandchildren, Robert Brian Collins, Mackenzie Collins, Mikaela Collins, Shelby Elkins and Emily Elkins and a host of family and friends, dearly loved his nieces and nephews. Preceded in death three brothers, James Collins, Delza Collins Jr and Bill Collins, one sister, Maxine Collins and a brother in law, Harold MaCarthur Mullins. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Hindman Funeral Services in Hindman, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. Tuesday, March3, 2015 and at the Hindman Funeral Services 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 and one hour before services on Thursday.
