February 17, 1929 – May 13, 2022
Robert Victor Bramblett, 93, passed peacefully away at his home in Llyod, Kentucky on May 13, 2022. He was born in South Portsmouth, Kentucky, Feb. 17, 1929 to the late James Martin Bramblett and Etta McGlone Bramblett.
In addition to his parents he preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Naomi Cyrus Bramblett, one son, James Dennis Bramblett, sisters, Bessie, Verle, Violet, June and Avanell, brothers, George and James.
Bob proudly served in the U.S. Army in Korea where he received a Purple Heart. After returning home he worked as a Millwright.
He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their love and appreciation to his loving caregivers, Kim and Jim Sanders.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Jimmy Trail, officiating. Burial will follow on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast, Grayson, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Military services will be by the C.K. American Legion Post 93, Kenova, West Virginia.
