Ralph O. Brown, 79, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away June 8, 2014 in Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice. He was born in West Portsmouth, Ohio, Nov. 26, 1934, a son of the late Oakley Brown and Anna Lipp Brown, he was a member of Shepherds Chapel Church and attended South Shore Nazarene Church. Preceded in death by one son, Timothy Brown, two sisters, Lenora Moran and Bernice Tuemler. Surviving are his wife, Maxine Thomas Brown whom he Married Oct. 12, 1961, one daughter, Beverly "Tom" Potter of Greenup, Kentucky, one son, Michael Ralph Brown of Grazitt, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Jennifer Nicole Brown, Timothy Brown, Jason Potter and Deana Hammond, six great grandchildren, Timothy Brown, Shawn Brown, Allison Brown, Elisabeth Nikki Ferguson, Carter Thomas Hammond and Zackary Brown, one brother, George Brown of West Portsmouth, Ohio, one sister, Stella Birchfield of Arcadia, Florida. Funeral services 1 P.M. Friday, June 13, 2014 at the South Shore Nazarene Church with Rev. David Robirds and Rev. Norman Potter, officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the South Shore Nazarene Church from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M on Thursday June 12, 2014 and from 11 A.M. till the funeral hour on Friday. Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky are in charge of arrangements.
