Phyllis Ann Farris, 77, of Quincy, Kentucky, passed away June 13, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Quincy, Kentucky, Oct. 14, 1938, a daughter of the late Charles Carver and Virginia Oney Carver, former employee of the Williams Shoe Factory, she was a Mother, Wife, Aunt and Grandmother.
Preceded in death by three brothers, Dean, Kenny and Jimmy Carver, two sisters, Daphine Moore and Joyce Carter.
Surviving are her husband, Truman Farris to whom she married Aug. 18, 1956, one son, Steve Farris of Quincy, Kentucky, three brothers, Michael Jack Carver of Bellevue, Ohio, Dick Carver and Randy Carver both of Mansfield, Ohio, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Roberson Funeral home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Norman Potter, officiating. Burial will follow in Carver-Davis Cemetery, Quincy, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 till 8 P.M. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 and from 11 A.M. till the Funeral hour on Thursday.
