Paul E. Jacobs, 83, of South Shore, Kentucky, went to be with his Lord, Nov. 5, 2013 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born Dec. 21, 1929 in Pomeroy, Ohio, a son of the late Pearl and Tina Buck Jacobs. He was retired from Southern Ohio Medical Center, served as treasurer for 20 years and a member of South Portsmouth Church of God. Preceded in death by a foster son, Tom Lewis, three sisters, Betty Jacobs, Theo Davis and Donna Gilmore, one brother, Cliff Jacobs. Surviving are his wife. Donna Kay Hines Jacobs, two daughters, Jan "Greg" Hudson of South Shore, Kentucky, Jill "Daryl" Walls of Louisville, Kentucky, one son, Jay "Anita" Jacobs of South Shore, Kentucky, one sister, Wanda Eblin of Pomeroy, Ohio, twelve grandchildren, Nathan "Katie" Hudson, Rachel Hudson, Daniel "Chelsie" Hudson, Samuel "Rachel D" Hudson, Matthew Hudson, Josiah Hudson, Anna Hudson, Hannah Jacobs, Joshua Jacobs, Mackenzie Walls, Danielle Walls, Isaiah Walls, one great-granddaughter, Moriah Hudson. Memorial services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the South Portsmouth Church of God with, Joe Carney and Greg Hudson, officiating. Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky was in charge of arrangements
