Norma Faye Hanes, 82, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away, Dec. 4, 2020 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born on Beauty Ridge, Kentucky, May 5, 1938, a daughter of the late Charles Leadingham and Sara Lewis Leadingham.

Preceded in death besides her parents are four brothers, Millard, Orville, Earl and Marcus Leadingham, two sisters, Beatrice and Mary Leadingham.

Surviving are three children, Debra (Rick) Hatten of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, Kevin Hanes of Portsmouth, Ohio and Keith (Marie) Hanes of Mobile, Alabama, six grandchildren, Jacki (Matt) Hayslip, Rick (Jessie) Hatten, Jodi Hatten, Tonya Hanes, JR Hanes and Diane Hanes, fourteen great grand-children.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor Andy Ramey, officiating. Burial will follow in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Due to Covid regulations no more than twenty five people and mask must be wore.
