Nora Mae Katherine Moore Pickel, 79, of Waverly, Ohio went to be with her Lord Jan. 9, 2018. She was born in New Boston, Ohio, Feb. 21, 1939, a daughter of the late Willard E. Moore and Eunice Janeva Smith Moore. She taught Christian School, was a Homemaker, and a Pastors wife until her death, she was a graduate of Otway High School in 1957 and Baptist Bible College in 1970, Springfield, Missouri.

Preceded by one son, Richard Dale Pickel, one sister, Betty Jo Moore Koenig.

On June 5, 1957 she was united in marriage to Ronald Lee Pickel who survives. This union was blessed with Beverly Lynn (Terry) Jones of Ash Grove, MO, Eric Brandon Pickel of Largo, Florida, also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, one brother, Paul Hackworth of PA, one sister, Susie Arnold of Otway, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M.  Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 at the Waverly Baptist Temple in Waverly, Ohio with Rev. Mike Davis, officiating. Burial will follow in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Church from 6 till 9 P.M. Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 and from 10 A.M. till the Funeral hour at 1 P.M. on Saturday.
