Mitchell Bloomfield, 80 of Quincy, Kentucky passed away, June 22, 2023 in Hospice of Hope, Maysville, Kentucky. Mitchell was born in Lewis County, Kentucky, June 5, 1943, a son of the late Albert and Alma Pruitt Bloomfield.

Preceded in death besides his parents are his wife of 54 years, Edna Carver Bloomfield, brothers, Charles and Jerry Bloomfield, sister, Norma Thayer.

Surviving are his children, Kevin (Sydonna) Bloomfield of Coweta, Oklahoma, Leann (Ray) Jamison of Chillicothe, Ohio, Curt Bloomfield of Lucasville, Ohio and Rebecca (David) Krenek of Quincy, Kentucky, brothers, Homer Bloomfield of Wheelersburg, Ohio, George Bloomfield of Garrison, Kentucky, sisters, Phyllis Shively and Avis Bond both of Newport, Kentucky, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Brothers Clarence Hall and Larry Joe Madden, officiating. Burial will follow in the Skidmore Cemetery, Garrison, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m. on Monday.
