Michelle Meadows, 49, of Garrison, Kentucky, passed away Friday July 18, 2014 in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia. She was born in Ashland, Kentucky, April 26, 1965, a daughter of the late John Roscoe Adkins and Mary Riley Adkins. Preceded in death by one sister, Gladys Louise Adkins. Surviving are her husband, Bruce Meadows of Garrison, Kentucky, two sons, Bruce "Darika" Adkins of Garrison, Kentucky, Brandon Adkins of Garrison, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Jacob and Bradley Adkins and Markus and Brandi Adkins, three sisters, Mary Adkins of Greenup, Kentucky, Becky "Bob" Bryant of Greenup, Kentucky, Jennifer "Chad" Jude of Winchester, Kentucky, two brothers, Michael Adkins of Greenup, Kentucky, John Adkins of Texas. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Monday, July 21, 2014 at the South Shore Old Regular Baptist Church, 721 Main Street, South Shore, Kentucky, with Brother Terry Lawson, officiating. Burial will follow in Dummit Cemetery, Garrison, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Church from 11 A.M. Monday, July 21, 2014 till the funeral hour at 1 P.M.. Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky are in charge of arrangements.
