Mary Gladys Liles, 86, of South Shore, KY, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.

Gladys was born at the head of Grassy, Lewis County, KY on January 26, 1931, the daughter of the late Russell Lee and Alma Gladys (Stone) Stephens. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Eddie Arnold Liles, a son, Carlos Arlomando (Marsha) Liles, a granddaughter, Tatia Leigh Liles, a grandson, Jonathan Michael Brian Day and her brother Lloyd Gordon Stephens.

Gladys was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, New Boston, Ohio.

Surviving to cherish her memory are seven of her eight children, John Burchett (Sharon) Liles II; Eddie Arnold Liles, II; Darina Angelina Goff; Marlin Durell Liles; Ismael Valenceala (Michael-Life Partner) Liles; Belva Rheadawn (Keith) Berry; Dallas C. Liles and a brother, Russell Lee (Karen) Stephens, Jr.

12 Grandchildren: Velvet Sharron (Christopher) Dean; Carrie Rene' (Jason) Dasher; Carlos Arlomando (Tera) Liles, II; Mark Anthony Kegley; Michael Craig (Joan) Liles; Howard Duane Liles; Samantha Angelina Kammerer; Sarah Rachel Liles; Leslie Kaye Liles; Joeseth Keith Bolton; Steven Anthony (Billie Jean) Bolton; Russell Earl Bolton.

15 Great Grandchildren: John Blake Liles, Madeline Anniston Dasher, Madison Ashton Dasher, Maverick Jason Dasher , Joel Scott Liles, Aaron Duane Newcomb, Eric Gavin Ray Kammerer, Austin Blake Barry, Steven Gabriel Bolton, Erica Michelle Day-Hamilton, Breana Marie Day, Xavier Furgeson, Sierra Nicole Dawn Hatcher, John Daniel Hatcher, Jacob Logan Hatcher.

Gladys was a public server where she worked as a waitress at the K & M Resturant and she was the previous owner of the White Front Resturant.

Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY with Reverend Jason Dasher, officiating. Burial will follow in Stone Cemetery, Lewis County, KY.

Family and friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 11 A.M. until the service time at 1 P.M. on Saturday, July 29, 2017.
