Mary Hunt, 70, of South Shore, KY., passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston, WV. She was born on March 19, 1955, a daughter of the late Norman Wayne and Margie Carver Meadows.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles (Butch) McKenzie; second husband, Carl Hunt; two brothers, Woody Meadows and Lester Meadows.

Left behind to cherish her memory are three daughters, Rhonda (Jeffrey) Bivens of South Portsmouth, KY., Melinda (Samuel) Whitt of Greenup, KY., and Kimberly (Eric) Clark of South Shore, KY; one son Charles McKenzie;  two brothers, Lonnie (Sue) Meadows and Marcus Spears; two sisters, Brenda Watkins and Marlene (Gary) Yelley; thirteen grandchildren, Kayla (Nathan) Gilliam, Mary Beth (Braden) White, Sammy (Sabrina) Whitt, Nick (Anna) Whitt, Brittany (Brandon) Marsh, Clayton (Zoe) Potter, Courtney Potter, Eric (Sammatha) Adams, Tyler (Elizabeth) McKenzie, Haley (Peyton) Boggs, Alexis McCann, Abagail Rickett, and RaeLynn McKenzie; several great-grandchildren, and to many others who knew her as Nanny.

Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Ray Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Harr Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the funeral home from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and from 12 P.M. until the funeral hour on Sunday.
