Louise "Mary" Gwinn, 82 of South Portsmouth, Kentucky passed away June 4, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Baisden, West Virginia, March 2, 1931, a daughter of the late Rosevelt and Mary Alice Moore Blankenship. She was a Homemaker and a life time member of White Oak Chapel Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, James Gwinn, one son Walter Gwinn and a grandson, Matthew Harmon.
Surviving are one daughter, Sandy "Roy" Thayer of Quincy, Kentucky, one son, Gary Gwinn of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, daughter in law, Talena Gwinn of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, two brothers, Ted "Irene" Blankenship of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, Ed "Paulette" Blankenship of Apopka, Florida, two sisters, Donna Cline of South Portsmouth, Kentucky and Deloris Mullins of Coeburn, Virginia, six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services 1 P.M. Friday June 7, 2013 at the White Oak Chapel Church in South Portsmouth, Kentucky with Pastor John Reed and Rev. Donnie Smith, officiating. Burial will be in Blankenship Cemetery, Lower White Oak Road, South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home Thursday June 6, 2013 from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M and from noon till the Funeral hour on Friday at the White Oak Chapel Church, Lower White Oak Road, South Portsmouth, Kentucky.
