Mary Lou Franz, 90 of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away April 11, 2023 in River Run Health Care in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. She was born in Quincy, Kentucky, June 9, 1932, a daughter of the late Everett Eldridge and Shirley LeMaster Eldridge.

Preceded in death besides her parents are her husband, Carl Franz, one brother, Jerry Eldridge, one sister, Audrey Glenn.

Surviving are two children, Brenda (Victor) Fitch of Chillicothe, Ohio, Allen Franz of Portsmouth, Ohio, sisters, Wanda Goodman, Alma Zink, Dorothy Austin, Marie Childers and Melva (Paul) Barney, grandchildren, Joseph Fitch, Victoria (Andrew) Fitch-Blankenship,, Jordan (Scott) Click and Kyle (Kristie) Copley, great-grandchildren, Addison Copley, Jace Copley, Dace Click, Reid Click, Jett Click and extended family with many friends who will dearly miss her.

Graveside services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Portsmouth, Ohio with Kevin Clausing, officiating.
